Foreign Body By Robin Cook

hey guys,

i am back to the blog after a long time..pretty busy at home..i couldn't finish the book so fast.so it takes almost a month to write my next review.

This time i am back with Robin cook Foreign Body.Again its a coincidence, the story is related to India. Its about the business of medical tourism in India.Medical tourism is the one which produces a vast economy to our country. It is a developing concept where people come for the medical treatments to India. The major treatments are heart surgery, knee transplant and dental problems. For these treatments people come from the countries like USA,UK and Europe. The basic reason behind this is, patients can enjoy the same quality treatments like in their countries with reduced cost.

Now this story starts in India, where an American lady Maria will die after being treated. But this death raises some questions to the Jennifer, grand daughter of Maria.Because she knows about her granny death news before doctors confirmed.she will come to know the news from a news channel.Like this simultaneously two more deaths will continue in the hospital. This makes Jennifer more suspicious and she wants to do autopsy for her granny and other dead bodies too.

The story narration is not interesting..its very dry..and the author didn't maintain any secrecy in the story. We can easily guess what happened,by half way through the book.so read the book if u don't have any options.. But we have appreciate the author for explaining some Hindu culture related to Varanasi.

Path Of Glory by Jeffrey Archer

hey guys,

i am back with an amazing book called "path of glory" which is a truly inspired novel.i wont say this is the best written by Archer, but it shows how a person can be so passionate in one thing with out even caring for his life and especially for his most beloved wife.

The story is about a man called "George Mallory" who is so passionate in climbing right from his childhood. He is from Britain. His main aim is to hike the highest mountain in the world Mount Everest which heights around 29000 feet.He wants to be the first man in the world to reach to that summit. This story happened in 1922,and no one knows until now that George Mallory reached that height. The couldn't find his body after he made his attempt in 1922.

The author just goes with his autobiography. When i first started the book i really felt bored. The story starts right from his childhood and how he realized his inborn talent as a climber and how far he succeeded in order to fulfill it.But i likes the small point in this book.George Mallory loves his wife and the author presents their love in the form of letters and i just loved the love story which happened between them.

On the whole,to try different i really recommend this book to read.Last, but not least the author also gave a nice view about INDIA in 1900's.
